Police and local authorities are putting up signs banning drones and ultralight aircraft around Da Nang International Airport, Tiền Phong reported on October 16.

The signs carry police contact numbers and a QR code that opens a Da Nang Police infographic listing 10 banned drone-related acts. One reported location is 29 Tháng 3 Park in Thanh Khê ward. Fines run from 2 million to 40 million dong under Decree 282/2025/NĐ-CP, and the infographic also warns of possible criminal prosecution for obstructing air traffic under Article 278 of the Criminal Code.

According to the report, the chairman of the city People's Committee ordered agencies to finish reviewing boundary markers and sign locations by October 20. City police are leading a response plan for drones entering restricted areas. Commune-level police and military units will survey drone owners, sellers and makers, and the Municipal Military Command will inspect drone facilities and target illegal trade.

Hobbyists should check restricted zones before flying near the airport. The report does not list the full map of areas covered.
