The health station in An Hải ward has begun visiting residents at home for health checkups, Báo Đà Nẵng reported on October 16.

The target group is people aged 60 and over who have not had a health-insurance checkup in 2026. Older adults with mobility difficulties and people with disabilities come first. About 60 people had been seen so far, the report said.

Staff take pulse and blood pressure with medical equipment and run general examinations covering internal medicine, eye, dental and maxillofacial, and ear, nose and throat. They also run blood tests for blood sugar, blood lipids and kidney function, and give advice on nutrition and preventing disease.

The station says it wants every resident to get at least one checkup a year and to strengthen primary care for vulnerable groups. The report does not say how residents can request a visit or whether other wards plan similar programs.
