An Khê ward held its 2026 dialogue conference with residents on the afternoon of October 21, and Báo Đà Nẵng published the ward's figures for the first nine months of the year.
The ward received 1,474 suggestions and petitions: 69 at People's Council voter meetings, 342 in dialogues with residential-group leaders and 806 through its 1022 hotline. Of the hotline cases, 783 were resolved and 23 were still being handled. It also logged 131 complaints and denunciations and resolved 125 petitions.
On infrastructure, the ward said it has 41 education, culture and urban projects under way that are due to finish in the first quarter of 2027. It repaired 41 drainage culverts, replaced 215 street lights and lit 12 alleys. On the environment, it fined seven people about 30 million dong in total for dumping waste and construction debris and installed cameras at hotspots.
Police and ward patrols fined 245 traffic violations, nearly 190 million dong in all. Public-order cases rose to 33 from 25 a year earlier; 32 were solved.
Residents raised livelihoods, infrastructure, the environment and land-use tax. Leaders answered most questions on the spot and promised specialist agencies would review long-running infrastructure problems.
Why it matters: it is a rare ward-level scorecard. Still unknown: which projects residents want prioritised.
