More than 1,000 customers took part in a public draw on the morning of October 15 for apartments in the B5 Hòa Xuân social housing project, according to Báo Đà Nẵng. The draw was held at the Hòa Xuân ward hall, in front of the agencies supervising it and the applicants.

Phase one puts 849 social housing apartments on sale, ranging from 36 to 77 square metres. The report counts 306 purchase tickets and 84 reserve tickets in a priority group, described as single women and women heading households, and 479 purchase tickets and 201 reserve tickets in the general group. It does not say how many apartments were allocated at the draw or what the prices are.

The investor is Công ty CP Đầu tư phát triển nhà ở Toàn Cầu. The whole project, on Huỳnh Tịnh Của road, is planned as 1,306 apartments in four 14-storey buildings, with 1,040 social housing units and 266 commercial ones, on about 28,943 square metres. Total investment is 2.1 trillion dong. Construction began in December 2025, and handover is expected at the end of 2027.

Why it matters

Social housing is aimed at buyers who meet eligibility rules, so a draw like this is one place to see how many qualified applicants there are. Buyers who drew a place still have to wait for the investor's next steps and for the building to be completed.
