Da Nang Hospital and Hanoi's Bach Mai Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding on the afternoon of Saturday, October 17, for professional cooperation from 2026 to 2030, according to Báo Đà Nẵng and the city portal.
Bach Mai will support Da Nang Hospital with staff training, technique transfer, joint case consultations, staff rotations and research, in internal medicine, surgery, paraclinical services and hospital management. Da Nang Hospital's priority areas are resuscitation and toxicology, stroke, cardiovascular care, surgery, anesthesia and endocrinology. The two hospitals will first survey needs and assess whether each technique can be transferred, then draft a plan and training roadmap.
City People's Committee Chairman Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng attended and asked the hospital to prepare staff, facilities and equipment, review progress regularly and make sure the agreement improves care for patients. The city portal says the cooperation supports Da Nang Hospital's aim of reaching special-grade status by 2030 and its regional role for the South Central Coast and Central Highlands.
