The Da Nang Party Committee opened its fifth meeting on the morning of October 15 to review the first nine months of 2026 and set priorities for the rest of the year, according to the city portal. Deputy Secretary Ngô Xuân Thắng chaired, and Secretary Lê Ngọc Quang gave the opening speech.
The portal reported these nine-month figures: estimated GRDP growth of 10.31%, state budget revenue of 71.5 trillion dong (107.7% of the estimate), public investment disbursement at 77.66% of the plan set by the Prime Minister, and 15.86 million overnight visitors, up 26.4% on a year earlier.
For 2026 the committee's targets are growth of at least 11% and disbursement of the full public investment plan, tied to project quality. It also called for speeding up a 100-day free health screening campaign and preparing flood, storm and landslide plans under the "4 on-site" principle.
Quang named five areas for discussion: Party building, economic growth, investment disbursement, urban and social welfare, and defense and security. The portal's report covers the opening session only and lists no formal resolutions.
