Da Nang plans to host a high-level forum on cross-border e-commerce from Monday, December 7, to Wednesday, December 9, according to a plan (No. 536/KH-UBND, issued October 16) published on the city portal on October 18.
The event is called the High-level Forum on Cross-border E-commerce and Global Connected Business Ecosystems (GCBES) – Da Nang 2026, under the theme "Vietnam – Gateway Connecting Cross-border Ecosystems". The People's Committee is the organizer. December 7 and 8 are set aside for exhibitions, solution showcases and business matchmaking, with the main forum session on December 8 at the Da Nang Administrative Center. December 9 is for field visits along two routes: one covering trade, logistics and high-tech zones, the other technology, innovation and research sites.
The plan expects about 50 exhibition booths and matchmaking between businesses, government bodies and investors. Topics include cross-border e-commerce, logistics, seaports and the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, as well as AI, data and digital payments. The target audience is government agencies, trade associations and companies, especially Vietnamese and Da Nang exporters looking for sales platforms, plus importers, distributors and logistics partners.
The plan gives no attendance figure, and the exhibition and field-trip venues have not been named.
