Da Nang companies must file beneficial-owner details by November 30, tax and finance department says

Businesses in Da Nang with legal-entity status must add information on their beneficial owners by November 30, 2026, Báo Đà Nẵng reported on October 23. The city Department of Finance gave the deadline in Official Letter No. 14848/STC-DN&ĐKKD.

A beneficial owner is the individual who ultimately owns or controls a company, directly or indirectly. The report says people representing state capital in a company are not covered.

Filing is done on the National Business Registration Information System. The package includes a request to change registration details (Form 12), the beneficial-owner list (Form 10) and a power of attorney if one is used.

The department cites Decree 168/2025/NĐ-CP as amended by Decree 296/2026/NĐ-CP and Circular 121/2026/TT-BTC. The report does not state penalties or how many companies are affected.

For help, the Department's enterprise registration office is on the 6th floor of the City Administrative Center, 24 Trần Phú, Hải Châu ward (tel. 0236 3821755).
