Da Nang College wants closer cooperation with Japanese schools and employers, Da Nang Online reported on October 21 after college leaders visited the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang.
Acting Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Thị Phương Anh briefed Consul General Mori Takero on the college's work. The college proposed joint training programmes in several fields, Japanese-language courses for students, routes for graduates to continue to university in Japan, and exposure to Japanese workplaces through internships. It also suggested academic exchanges and cultural activities.
Mori welcomed the delegation and said the consulate would act as a bridge between the college and Japanese partners, according to the report.
Why it matters: Japan is among the foreign partners most active with Da Nang's training and startup institutions. Still unknown: no agreement, programme start date or student numbers were announced; this was an exploratory visit.
