Da Nang Library is hosting a Book and Technology Week and the Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2026 from October 17 to 25 at its Branch 1, 46 Bạch Đằng in Hải Châu ward, Báo Đà Nẵng reported on October 20. The library is running it with FPT Polytechnic College's Da Nang campus under the theme "Lan tỏa tri thức - Kết nối công nghệ" (translated from Vietnamese: spreading knowledge, connecting technology).

The programme includes exhibitions on the patriot Huỳnh Thúc Kháng and on the tradition of Vietnamese women, artistic book-stacking displays, and demonstrations of e-books, audiobooks, automated search, RFID and VR/AR. There are training sessions on using artificial intelligence in libraries and a demonstration of automated robots.

Two dated sessions are listed. On October 23 there is a seminar on digital transformation in library services for the Central and Central Highlands regions, with a book introduction and an arts exchange. On October 24 there is a talk on preventing cyberbullying, followed by a poetry and music exchange.

The report does not say whether admission is free and gives no schedule for the other days.

Why it matters: It is a low-key, public, indoor option for the final weekend of the week, and a look at how the city's library is adopting AI and automation.
