Da Nang businesses are refreshing their offers for the off-peak season, Báo Đà Nẵng's English edition reported on October 24. Co Hong restaurant at 103 Nguyễn Văn Thoại has introduced combo meals of local dishes such as Nam O herring salad, steamed scad and Quang noodles, with an assorted platter from 139,000 dong.

Leaf Village & Farm in Hải Vân ward is offering 50% off admission and experience tickets. It waives fees for selected exchange activities for first-year university students and for researchers and survey groups studying the green economy, community tourism or sustainable development. New activities include harvesting vegetables, catching fish with traditional traps, making horn-shaped "banh sung trau" cakes, learning brocade weaving and joining Cơ Tu community dances.

The Sơn Trà Peninsula has reopened to visitors after a temporary suspension caused by bad weather. Its management board advises visitors to keep to authorised routes and avoid unauthorised trekking or self-organised ecotourism in the special-use forest. Authorities also remind beachgoers not to enter the water when waves are high.

The report does not say how long the promotions last or give visitor figures.
