Da Nang's economy is estimated to have grown 11.83% in the third quarter of 2026, the fastest quarter so far this year, officials said at the People's Committee's press briefing on October 23, Báo Đà Nẵng reported.

Finance Department director Trần Thị Thanh Tâm gave the figures, which are estimates. Nine-month growth is put at 10.31%, above the national average, with the economy valued at about 264.6 trillion dong. Trade, services and tourism are the main drivers; revenue from accommodation, food service and travel is estimated at 56.97 trillion dong, up 25.42%. Goods import-export turnover is around US$7.4 billion.

State budget revenue reached 70.44 trillion dong by September 30, which the city says is 106.2% of the People's Council's estimate and 76% higher than a year earlier. Public investment disbursement stood at 13.56 trillion dong on October 15, or 78.9% of the Prime Minister's assigned plan.

The headline of the Báo Đà Nẵng article mentions a seventh-of-34 national ranking; the article body does not explain it, so we have not repeated it.
