Da Nang has approved another resettlement area for the North-South high-speed railway, this time in Điện Bàn Bắc ward. CafeF reported on October 25 that the People's Committee approved it in Decision No. 4878, dated October 23.
Total investment is more than VND127.35 billion for about 66,938 square metres of land in the former Điện Tiến commune. Construction is scheduled from 2026 to 2029, and the city's transport and agriculture works project management board is the investor and will hand over the finished works.
The plan includes site levelling, drainage, power and street lighting, four internal roads totalling about 1,125 metres, and a wastewater treatment station with a capacity of 190 cubic metres a day. About 4,048 square metres is set aside as a park with sports facilities, following the detailed plan already approved.
The decision is listed as sub-project 9 of the railway's resettlement work. The report does not say how many households will move to the site.
