The third Da Nang International Tourism Fair (DITF 2026) took place on the morning of Sunday, October 18, at the Ariyana Da Nang International Convention Center, Báo Đà Nẵng reported. The theme was "Kết nối đối tác - Kiến tạo tương lai" (Connecting partners, building the future, translated from Vietnamese).
According to the report, more than 300 tourism service providers took part, alongside 150 international buyers and 400 domestic buyers. The paper counted more than 1,500 delegates and visitors, and said the business-matching sessions produced over 7,000 connections. The programme also included product exhibitions, seminars and familiarisation trips.
Hồ Kỳ Minh, standing vice chairman of the city People's Committee, said Da Nang wants higher-quality tourism that keeps visitors longer, gets them to spend more and brings them back. He said the city wants closer ties with airlines, travel firms, investors and digital tourism platforms. Cao Thị Ngọc Lan, standing vice president of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said the fair links Vietnamese businesses with partners at home and abroad.
The Da Nang Tourism Association and partners signed memoranda of understanding at the event. The report does not name the partners or say what the agreements commit anyone to, and a "connection" is a meeting, not a booking: how many of the 7,000 turn into contracts is not stated.
