The Da Nang People's Committee has leased about 24.7 hectares of land in Bà Nà commune to Sài Gòn - Đà Nẵng Investment Joint Stock Company to build the Hòa Nhơn industrial cluster, Báo Đà Nẵng reported on October 24. The decision is numbered 4857/QĐ-UBND.
The plot covers 247,522 square metres, all of it zoned for industrial-cluster use. Of that, 157,811 square metres are for industrial and handicraft production buildings and 89,711 square metres are for shared infrastructure.
The lease runs for 50 years with rent paid annually, and the report says it was granted without a land-use auction or project tender. The newspaper did not give the rent per square metre.
Because the project falls in a sector with special investment incentives, rent is waived on the 157,811 square metres of production land. The waiver covers the basic construction period, through March 31, 2028, and then 11 more years, from April 1, 2028 to March 31, 2039.
The decision assigns the Department of Agriculture and Environment to mark the boundaries and hand over the land on site. The Land Registration Office is to complete the land-use certificate.
