The People's Committee of Trà Tân commune held a workshop on the afternoon of October 21 to gather feedback on a draft project to conserve the Central Region revolutionary relic site at Nước Oa and local indigenous culture and tie both to tourism, Báo Đà Nẵng reported.

The draft covers 2026 to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and was prepared by the Da Nang Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research. The site has 11 relic points, including memorial houses and steles that have been restored, rebuilt or newly built; three are national-level relics. The draft says the site's value and local traditions have not yet been developed enough to drive growth.

Proposed directions include stronger management and fundraising, restoring the relics, raising public awareness, preserving residents' intangible heritage for visitors, and promotion with travel companies.

Why it matters: it signals how upland communes may seek visitors beyond the coast. Still unknown: the report gives no budget, targets or adoption date.
