Da Nang's People's Committee has approved the investment policy and the investor for a hotel and apartment complex called Sông Hàn in Hòa Cường ward, with a total investment of about 1.152 trillion dong, according to the city's October 16 summary of leadership decisions and a Báo Đà Nẵng report on October 17.
Decision 4743/QĐ-UBND names Công ty TNHH Quản lý và Đầu tư Khách sạn Quốc tế as investor. The site is lots B1-1-5 and B1-1-6 in the 2/9 residential, hotel, apartment and commercial-service area, covering 2,813.6 square metres at a building density of 45.3%. The tower is planned at 33 floors with about 33,763 square metres of above-ground floor area, and the project is expected to house 452 permanent residents. Uses listed include apartments, tourist apartments, and commercial and service space for sale, lease and lease-to-own.
Construction is due to start in the first quarter of 2027, and operation is planned between the first and fourth quarters of 2029.
