Da Nang's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted more than 30 journalists and content creators on the morning of October 23 to showcase its "Top 100 Điểm chạm Đà Nẵng" ("touchpoints") programme, Báo Đà Nẵng reported. The programme asks residents, visitors and businesses to propose and vote on places that give a "new perspective" on tourism in the city.

The department said the programme began in April 2026 and has drawn more than 1,500 suggestions. Of these, 477 were judged valid and put to a public vote, which has recorded more than 42,000 votes so far.

The group visited two sites. At the old village of Lộc Yên in Thạnh Bình commune, guests looked at traditional houses and stone-paved lanes, tried making products from areca-palm sheaths and talked with residents. At Bãi Sậy - Sông Đầm in Bàn Thạch ward, the focus was river life and the potential for ecotourism tied to protecting the landscape.

The report quotes no officials and does not say when the final list of 100 will be published or how the votes will be weighed. Those details are still unknown.
