Deputy Minister of Construction Lê Hồng Vinh inspected the Hòa Liên–Túy Loan section of the North-South Expressway East on October 23 and heard that several systems at the Túy Loan interchange do not fit the approved site, Sài Gòn Giải Phóng reported.
Da Nang's transport and agriculture works project board said the added intelligent transport system, toll collection and weighing station fall outside the approved boundary, with no land left. It asked the ministry not to build them separately and proposed integrated toll management along the whole route.
Of 129 households reporting house cracks from construction, 19 have not accepted compensation. Resettlement area No. 2 (234 plots) is expected to finish only by the end of 2027 because of soft-ground treatment, and 80 of 238 land-clearance files there remain open.
The units proposed extending the sub-project deadline to December 31, 2027. Vinh told contractors to change the soft-ground plan so payments are disbursed within 2026; the report does not say whether the toll proposal or deadline was accepted.
