Da Nang will host the Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum 2026 on Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, at the Da Nang Administrative Center, Báo Đà Nẵng's English edition reported.
The forum, themed "Local Strategic Planning: Development, Conservation, Adaptability, and Connectivity", is hosted by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Central Policy and Strategy Commission and the Da Nang Party Committee. The Academy of Politics Region III, the city People's Committee and the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) are collaborating. About 200 domestic and international delegates are expected.
Friday is a thematic discussion; Saturday is a high-level policy exchange. The organisers say the aim is to share experience and propose solutions on planning that balances development with heritage conservation, innovation and resilience.
The timing follows the approval of the city's general master plan to 2050. The report does not say whether the forum is open to the public, and the programme and speakers were not listed.
