Da Nang expects to collect about 88.75 trillion dong in state budget revenue in 2026, 133.7% of the People's Council's estimate, according to figures the city Department of Finance gave Tuổi Trẻ on October 28. The total excludes foreign aid and is 138.6% of last year's.

Domestic revenue is put at 80.6 trillion dong. Without land use fees and lottery income it would be about 62.96 trillion dong, still 122.9% of the estimate.

Land use fees are the biggest surprise: an estimated 17.17 trillion dong, 232% of the estimate and 311% of 2025. The paper says most of the jump comes from large one-off payments on the Làng Vân project of Vinpearl JSC, which alone accounts for 12.449 trillion dong. Lottery revenue is estimated at 475 billion dong.

Import and export duties are expected to reach 8.15 trillion dong, 111.6% of the estimate, helped by higher payments from Trường Hải Group.

Department of Finance director Trần Thị Thanh Tâm said the two largest increases are land use and land rental fees, which she credited to the city clearing obstacles for large projects. In the first nine months, land use and rental fees totalled 26.839 trillion dong, which she described as 41.5% of domestic revenue.

All figures are estimates from the Department of Finance, as cited by the paper.
