Forty-five Da Nang students received SEEDS university scholarships on 1 November for the 2026–2027 academic year, Báo Đà Nẵng reports. The awards were presented by the Da Nang City Charity and Child Rights Protection Association with the Pacific Links Foundation.
Across seven central provinces and cities, 146 students are supported this year, with a total budget of 3.5 billion VND. They study in Hanoi, Huế, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Last year the programme backed 161 students with 4.5 billion VND, 55 of them in Da Nang.
Eligible students took part in SEEDS in high school and passed the sponsor's interview. Each receives 20 to 60 million VND a year for up to four years of study, longer for engineering and medical students. Support also covers tuition, living costs, a laptop, English courses and dental care.
