Apple has begun testing its AI-powered Siri in Vietnamese, VnExpress reported on 4 November. The language is available in the iOS 27.3 beta, the latest test build, and is the seventh language supported by the new Siri. French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish were added in iOS 27.2.
iOS 27 runs on the iPhone 11 and the second-generation iPhone SE or newer, but the AI-powered Siri requires an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or newer. To try it, users open Settings, then General, Software Update and Beta Updates, and install the newest iOS 27.3 beta.
The report says the new Siri holds better conversations, can search the internet when needed and helps with planning, brainstorming and detailed schedules. It uses Apple Intelligence and Google's Gemini models. Siri also has its own app, which keeps past conversations and syncs across Apple devices.
As a beta, the software may have app compatibility problems and higher battery use, and the report advises against installing it on a main device. It gives no date for a stable Vietnamese release.
