The Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board announced on October 27 that a Geleximco-linked joint venture has been selected as investor for a mixed-use urban area in Quảng Phú ward, CafeF reported. The winning bidder is a joint venture of Geleximco Phố Hiến JSC and Hà Nội General Investment JSC, which was the only bidder.

The project lies south of the Nguyễn Tất Thành axis. It covers about 296.2 hectares, has a planned population of about 8,000 and a total investment of about VND 17,785 billion.

The plan lists 3,468 units and plots: 194 townhouses, 343 villas, 2,611 social-housing units and 320 resettlement plots. At least 20 percent of the residential land, not counting existing housing and resettlement land, is to be reserved for social housing once the technical infrastructure is built.

The project runs for 50 years in five phases. Phase one covers 81 hectares and is scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2027 to the third quarter of 2032. The fifth and last phase, covering 58.86 hectares, is set for the fourth quarter of 2032 to the third quarter of 2037, and housing construction is scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2030 to the second quarter of 2037.

Geleximco Phố Hiến was founded in January 2025 and is based in Hưng Yên province, with charter capital of VND 1,000 billion. The report says Geleximco Group holds 90 percent, with brothers Vũ Văn Hậu and Vũ Văn Tiền splitting the remaining 10 percent equally. Hà Nội General Investment, listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange under the code SHN, reported charter capital above VND 1,296 billion at the end of June 2026.
