The renovation of 29/3 Park in Da Nang's Thanh Khe ward is largely finished, VnExpress reports, with a lakeside structure called the "Peace Ring" as its centrepiece. The park covers more than 20 hectares between Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Tri Phuong and Nguyen Van Linh streets and is described as the largest park in the city centre.

The project cost nearly VND673 billion. The investor is the Da Nang management board for civil, industrial and technical infrastructure projects, and work began on 27 March 2025.

The report does not give an opening date. Truong Quoc Dung, the site commander, said the project is being inspected and a full check is expected in mid-November before it is handed over to Thanh Khe ward to run.

The Peace Ring reaches out over part of the central lake and combines a music fountain, lighting and sound. Its roof is reinforced concrete clad in aluminium panels on both sides.

Visitors may walk beneath it but may not climb onto the arch. The concrete columns and walls have a wood grain made by casting in moulds, not by paint.

A walkway across the lake combines vertical columns with a curved canopy, and long LED strips light the floor at night. The fountain stage is in trial runs, with 10 pieces of music tested over more than 20 days.

Other features include a boat dock with a viewing deck, a lakeside path with glass railings, a glass-walled exhibition house, a basketball court and an exercise area with equipment installed and awaiting handover, and toilets designed to sit hidden in a grassy slope. One road in the project was adjusted to keep an old banyan tree.
