Da Nang has approved one labour contract at a salary of VND 100 million a month for work at the governing body of the Vietnam International Financial Centre in the city, Tuổi Trẻ reports. People's Committee Chairman Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng approved the contract on October 29, on a report from the Department of Home Affairs.

The decision was announced after Hùng chaired a meeting that morning on attracting and employing talent and on developing the cultural industry and the night economy. Deputy Chairman Nguyễn Thị Anh Thi attended. Tuổi Trẻ reports that departments were told to review talent policies, identify priority fields and recruitment needs, and set out how talent will be used, with Thi overseeing the review.

The meeting also covered a benefits package for one PhD holder, a ministry-level civil servant transferred to Da Nang, and training for the team that will build and run the financial centre. One training course for that team has been completed, along with seven short-term courses for health-sector civil servants.

On the timetable, Tuổi Trẻ says a cultural industry development plan is due to go to the People's Committee in December 2026. A night economy development plan is expected in November 2026, followed by a night economy project proposal in June 2027.

The salary sits within a framework adopted in late 2025 under Decision 2814 and a council resolution. CafeF also carried the report. Under that framework, experts, leading scientists and managers may be proposed for salaries of up to VND 150 million a month, and the city can cover up to half of accommodation costs, capped at VND 20 million a month.
