Da Nang's city government is working on a single resolution to attract skilled workers and on a plan for the night-time economy and cultural industries, Bao Da Nang reported on 29 October.
According to the newspaper, People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Manh Hung met department heads that morning. He asked them to pull together the mechanisms already in use and review current rules to draft one joint resolution on attracting high-quality workers. Policies, he said, should be grounded in practice, with evaluation and data, and he floated a steering committee that includes city leaders.
On culture, tourism department director Truong Thi Hong Hanh said the department will set out specific products, tasks and policies by the end of the year. Proposals that may go to the city council include preferential credit, support for creative work, help for film crews promoting the city, and branded city events. The department is also drawing up a 2027 events list and finishing a night-economy plan aimed at "double-digit" growth.
The report gives no figures for the workforce needed, funding or support levels.
