Hai Chau ward has opened a peak campaign against urban-order violations at the foot of the Dragon Bridge, the city portal reported on 29 October. Enforcement runs daily from 6pm to 10pm, the hours when the riverside crowds gather.

According to the Da Nang city news portal, the campaign targets unregulated rental of electric vehicles and children's toy cars, high-power hand-held loudspeakers used for karaoke, unlicensed street vending (fried fish balls are named), and occupation of pavements, roadways and public grounds. Forces will inspect and deal with violations and step up patrols to catch offences as they happen.

The portal says inspectors had earlier checked businesses and individuals, drawn up violation records, and had vendors and rental operators sign pledges to follow the law. It describes the violations as recurring, with some operators exploiting late-night hours, and says noise, visual clutter and disorder have frustrated residents. The report forwards residents' complaints about the site to the city People's Committee Office.

The article gives no fine amounts or case counts, and does not say how long the campaign will last beyond "late October".
