Da Nang's Department of Education and Training has published a hotline for complaints about unlicensed extra tuition and improper school fees, Tuổi Trẻ reports. The number is 0236 3821066, run from the department office at 2 Đông Giang Street, An Hải ward, during office hours through the 2026–2027 school year.

The move follows a letter from the city People's Committee chairman dated 5 November. It orders the city police, departments and local authorities to set up and publicise hotlines or other channels for residents to report improper extra classes.

Local police are to work with other agencies to inspect extra-tuition venues outside schools and deal with violations. The education department is to review and enforce the rules. Managing extra tuition is also to count in the performance assessment of each school head.

Schools are told to tighten oversight of teachers and not to allow improper extra classes, and violators are to be disciplined with the outcome made public. Tuổi Trẻ says the letter follows the arrest of a director of an English-language centre in the city over unlicensed teaching of the national school curriculum. Danang Voice has not independently confirmed the details of that case, which remains in the hands of the police.
