Da Nang seeks comments on 244 areas in housing programme revision

Da Nang's Department of Construction is asking agencies and localities to comment on a draft adjustment to the city's 2021-2030 housing development programme, Báo Đà Nẵng reports. The request went out in document 20000/SXD-QLN, with written comments due by November 10.

The draft list covers 244 areas proposed for commercial housing by the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board and local authorities. Proposers have been told to assess the necessity and feasibility of each area, drop proposals that do not meet the criteria, and supply boundary coordinates in the VN2000 system. Areas without coordinates will not be included.

Reviewers are asked to look at land funds, capital sources, compensation and site clearance, and whether each project fits sector plans. The department will compile the responses and report to the City People's Committee.

According to the report, the file is expected to go to the City Party Standing Committee in December 2026 and then to the City People's Council for approval.
