The Da Nang Startup and Innovation Support Center (DISSC) signed a memorandum of understanding with INNOV DA NANG Co., Ltd on the morning of October 27, according to the centre's own news site. The aim is to build international networks and make it easier for local startups to reach investors and partners.
Planned activities include promoting the city's investment opportunities and connecting startups with suitable foreign investors, experts and support organisations. The two sides will also explore inviting foreign partners to the SURF startup day and the DAVAS venture and angel investment forum. The memorandum points to stronger links with Fukuoka in Japan and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
INNOV DA NANG shared its experience building a digital-nomad community and proposed a long-term cooperation strategy setting out roles and resources. DISSC asked it to help connect the city with reputable international venture funds. Both sides agreed to hold a more detailed working session to set up the coordination mechanism and name representatives.
