Hòa Vang commune holds a village market at Túy Loan Market on the first Saturday evening of every month, VOV reported on October 25. The commune People's Committee organises it to give upland producers a steady route to buyers in the city.

Stalls sell rượu cần (rice wine drunk through straws), wild vegetables, honey, bamboo shoots, Ariêu chilli, wild pepper, turmeric, ginger, free-range eggs, bánh sừng trâu and native medicinal herbs. Vendors come from Hòa Vang, Đông Giang, Sông Vàng, Hùng Sơn and La Êê.

There are on-site cooking and craft demonstrations, performances and folk games. Deputy chair Đinh Thị Thúy Hương said the aim is to build a value chain and add online sales through livestreams, pre-orders and a planned shared sales channel, according to the report. The market also promotes a "no plastic, no chemicals" approach.

The report gives no sales figures and does not say how many vendors took part.
