Heavy trucks and large coaches will face new restrictions around the Hòa Xuân bridge approach from 9:00 on October 31, according to Báo Đà Nẵng, which cites an announcement by the city's transport and agriculture project management board.

The measures support construction of the junction linking Lê Thanh Nghị, Cách Mạng Tháng Tám, Thăng Long and the road up to Hòa Xuân Bridge, in Hòa Cường and Hòa Xuân wards. The report does not say how long they will last.

Trailer and semi-trailer trucks heading for Tiên Sa Port are to be directed straight on at signed points including Trường Chinh–Lê Đại Hành, National Route 1A–Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa and National Route 14B–Lê Văn Hiến. Trailers and wholesale-market trucks are barred from Nguyễn Hữu Thọ–Xô Viết Nghệ Tĩnh–Lê Thanh Nghị between 4:00 and 23:00.

Inside the restricted zone, trucks over 2.5 tonnes and coaches with 16 or more seats are banned around the clock. No stopping or parking is allowed on several nearby streets at peak hours, 6:00–8:00 and 16:00–19:00.
