As of October 30, a draft adjustment to the detailed plan for the Tiên Sa marine eco-tourism project on the Sơn Trà Peninsula is open for public comment, according to Tuổi Trẻ. Sơn Trà ward People's Committee announced the consultation, and the draft was prepared by the investor, Tiên Sa Sea Joint Stock Company.

The planning area is 303,505 square metres, bounded by Da Nang Bay, Yết Kiêu Road, Sơn Trà Mountain and Tiên Sa Port. The adjustment would trim a little over 600 square metres that belong to the Military Region 3 Command.

Scattered buildings would be merged: seven spa blocks into one, two central blocks into one, and three pool-area blocks into one block plus a pool. On the bungalow lots, five underwater bungalows and one near the shoreline would be dropped from the 20 planned, and the rest repositioned.

The investor says the changes stay within the approved general planning limits and follow the Government Inspectorate's conclusions. The paper recalls that the project drew a fine and a stop-work order in 2017, after villa foundations were built without a permit.
