Da Nang plans to start three urban projects in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone between December 2026 and April 2027, with combined investment of more than VND40,460 billion, Tuoi Tre reports. Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh chaired a working session with the zone's management board, departments and investors on 4 November.
The largest is the Chu Lai urban area, about 188.56 hectares in Nui Thanh commune, led by Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment JSC. Its investment is put at more than VND18,854 billion. Binh said it should aim to start in December 2026, and in any case by 29 March 2027 if force majeure intervenes.
A mixed-use urban area of about 296.28 hectares in Quang Phu ward, south of the Nguyen Tat Thanh axis, is led by a joint venture of Geleximco Pho Hien JSC and Ha Noi General Investment JSC. It is put at more than VND18,538 billion.
The third is a riverside urban area along the Truong Giang River, about 74.05 hectares across Quang Phu and Ban Thach wards. Green Industrial Chu Lai JSC is the investor, with investment of more than VND3,069 billion. Both this and the mixed-use project are due to start before 30 April 2027.
Binh told officials to focus on removing obstacles, above all site clearance and compensation. Nguyen Hong Quang, head of the Chu Lai management board, presented the projects.
Separately, five more projects have been proposed for Thang An and Thang Truong communes, including a 352-hectare golf-integrated urban area and a 1,086-hectare tourism-service area. The report gives no decisions on them.
