Da Nang has told local authorities to survey every household in a temporary or dilapidated home and speed up rebuilding, Báo Đà Nẵng reported on October 26. The instruction is in the City People's Committee's Official Letter 10886/UBND-ĐTĐT.

The Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the commune, ward and special-zone committees must review the 2023-2025 programme and name the causes and responsibility for remaining and newly appeared cases. Results were due to the Department of Construction by October 25. People with revolutionary contributions and households with badly degraded homes are the priority.

Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and for children of veterans exposed to Agent Orange is to be finished before April 2027. The city is also to send the City People's Council a dossier for a thematic session in October proposing funding for these groups and for relatives of martyrs, and to study a city-funded loan policy through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

The Department of Construction must urgently draft a housing solution for 136 households in Duy Nghĩa commune whose homes lie inside the Nam Hội An Resort Project area, the report says. The letter also restates social housing targets of about 5,000 units by the end of 2026 and more than 28,000 by 2030. The report does not say how the 136 households will be rehoused.
